Year 13 Digital Technology (DTC303)
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss M. Nicholl.
This course develops a range of specialties based on knowledge gained from both the Year 11 and 12 Courses.
It consists of a year long project involving inquiry, proposal, design, development and reflection on their choice of digital outcome.
There are three internally assessed achievement standards and one externally assessed standard. The external is essential to achieve course endorsement. This course provides the opportunity to gain credits towards the literacy and numeracy requirements for University Entrance.
Software used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender.
Recommended Prior Learning
You need to have studied year 12 Digital Technology. Students who have not completed Year 12 DTC can apply to the HOD or Miss Tennent for placement into the Year 13 DTC course and ill need to demonstrate sufficient skill/commitment to be accepted.
