Course Description

Teacher in Charge: C. Jenkins

This is a course designed for students who have an interest in various periods of history from the Ancient Egyptians and Romans to Genghis Khan and Mary, Queen of Scots. Students will develop their writing, research and problem solving skills and complete assessments involving making artefacts and models, creating digital presentations and solving history mysteries.

Pathway

Year 10 History ensures students have good research skill, and an understanding of the impact of past events, which will serve them well whatever subjects they choose to take in Year 11.
