Course Description

This course is for students who need to consolidate their mathematical understanding. It will be assessed against national unit standards and some achievement standards with credits gained towards NCEA Level One in Number, Measurement and Statistics. This course will be assessed internally and have a strong numeracy component. Students will be accepted into this course by the Mathematics department based on results from year 10. This course provides the opportunity to fulfill the numeracy requirements for NCEA Level 1. This course does not lead on to a Level 2 mathematics course.
