In Communication English you will learn practical skills to be able communicate effectively with a wide range of people in different situations. This will be done through research, discussion, individual projects, the study of literature and film, and practical tasks. Themes will include:
You will develop confidence as you learn the communication skills that employers look for in school leavers and job seekers. The ability to be able to communicate effectively with employers and workmates will create opportunities for employment success. All units of work are internally assessed and contribute credits towards NCEA Level 3. This course is designed to be taken along side CIV303, PAT303, and Tourism. Communication English is not an approved subject for University Entrance as the assessments tasks are Unit Standards. |
