Course Description

Teacher in Charge:

At Year 9 students will take increasing responsibility for their own health and well-being and will learn about movement skills in a wide range of contexts.

Topics for PE:
Growth and Development.  Badminton.  Small Ball Skills.  Large Ball Skills.  Olympic Games.                      Cultural Games/Ki o rahi.  Athletics.  Creative Movement.


Topics for Health:

Positive Relationships.  Sexuality.  Tobacco and Alcohol Awareness. Change, Loss and Grief.
