This Social Sciences course has an accounting focus and provides enough knowledge to enable running their own business if they wish to.  This course covers accounting basics such as:  cash management, bookkeeping, creation and interpretation of financial statements.  

Students have the opportunity to attempt 18 credits from this course using accounting achievement standards made up of two internal and two external achievement standards.
