Course Description

This course will cover kapahaka for Maori Performing Arts. This is a multilevel course. At Level 1 students will demonstrate their knowledge and skills of performance components. Level 2 students will look at demonstrating knowledge and skills of moteateawaiata a ringa, poi and haka wahine. Level 3 students will perform a Maori performing arts bracket and learn about powhiriStudents will be assessed at the appropriate skill level on 12-18 credits from the options listed below.
