Course Description

This course will develop literacy skills. It is designed to increase basic literacy with a focus on viewing and writing for practical purposes. It is internally assessed and includes unit standards assessments on reading and writing and achievement standards assessments on speaking and viewing. This course contains 18 credits chosen from the standards listed below. 


If you have received learning support in literacy during Year 10 then this is a good English course for you.

This is a good course for students planning to move into work or trades study in the future.
