Level 2, 3 Next level Dance (DAN232)

DAN232
Course Description

Teacher in Charge: B. Hibberd

Dance gives students a creative outlet for ideas and feelings, especially when words are difficult to come by.

A safe place to express themselves, all dancers move differently and this originality in movement allows students to accept and understand one another.

All Dance Level 12/13 Achievement Standards are internally assessed and most have both a practical and theory component which must be completed. Year 12/13 Dance requires knowledge relating to dance sequences, dance genres and styles, skills and elements in dance and an understanding of dance performance
