As a result of learning at this level you will be able to:
Explain why some health-related situations are a concern for communities or the whole population of a country or region
Analyse critically how the determinants of health affect well-being in relation to an identified health issue
Explore global health issues
Recommend and justif
y strategies that reflect the values of social justice

Topics may include: Alcohol and other drug use in NZ, Issues related to sexuality, euthanasia, immunization, life style changes (diet and exercise), teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS in a region of the world
