Course Description

Teacher in Charge: A. Peszynski

This course focuses on current economic issues and government policy in New Zealand. The students study economic growth, unemployment, inflation, trade and the government policies which influence those aspects of the New Zealand economy. Because Economics draws on current events and issues of concern to students, this subject is especially enjoyable and challenging and allows students to participate more effectively in their daily lives as consumers and workers.
