Course Description

Teacher in Charge: T. Frost

The students use more advanced vocabulary and grammar to express the topics covered in class. Culture and values are studied as these are very much part of the language. The study of the culture takes place not only in the classroom but at hui, at Polynesian festivals, at speech competitions and when welcoming visitors to the College.
There are four themes: At School (Rules, Practices, Roles and Responsibilities) Hui Marae, (Rules, Practices, Roles and Tasks) Te Ao Taiohi, Nga Mahi I te Kainga.
